Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double paralysed after getting injuredLondon, Mar 16 : Hollywood actor Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter stunt double David Holmes ended up getting paralysed while performing a stunt for the forthcoming flick `Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.

David Holmes fell from a harness at Leavesden Studios while practicing a stunt, which involved flying.

His family were confident that he would recover soon and get back to work.

"David wants to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and wishes. And don''t worry... the stunt-runt will be back," the Daily Express quoted his family as writing on his Facebook page.

However, reports now suggest that David's legs are paralysed, and that he may not be able to walk again.

"David is struggling to come to terms with the news. It''s terrible news but his family and friends are trying to offer him as much support as they can," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

"He is young and was very good at his job. But his life will be completely altered now," the source added.

However, David seems to be gifted with a tough will power, as he is not ready to give up hope.

"Although David has been told he''ll never walk again he is still not giving up hope. Deep down he knows it''s unlikely but it''s still early days and so he''s not giving up completely," the source added. (ANI)
