Colgate-Palmolive (India), a leading consumer goods manufacturer has recorded a substantial jump of 42.91% in standalone net profit during the quarter ended June 2009.
 
During the reporting quarter, the profit of the company went up 42.91% to Rs 1,027.80 million from Rs 719.20 million in the same quarter previous year.

Company's net sales for the quarter surged 19.08% to Rs 4,854 million, while total income for the quarter grew 12.58% to Rs 4,939.80 million, when compared with the prior year period.

The company has recorded earnings of Rs 7.56 a share, a growth of 42.91% over the prior year period.
