Chelsea''''s Hiddink lauds his boys over `bleeding'' for Barcelona draw
Barcelona (Spain), Apr. 29 : Chelsea football club coach Guus Hiddink has hailed his team for successfully forcing a draw against Spanish football champions Barcelona at their Nou Camp home ground, saying "My heroes bleed for me."
The Blues became the first side this season to stop Barcelona scoring at home as this Champions League semi-final.
Hiddink said: "Mentally my team has a lot of courage and a lot of blood that they want to sacrifice. We are pleased with the result here. It's quite an achievement against a beautiful team who can play beautiful football. But nothing's decided yet, nowadays there's no big advantage home or away. But it's a good result against a good team."
Hiddink got his tactics spot on although Chelsea rode their luck at times as keeper Petr Cech made four world-class saves.
The boss added: "Petr did a good job and saved the game for us. I think Jose Bosingwa also did a good job on Leo Messi.
Barca boss Pep Guar-diola said: "Chelsea played very defensively today with a six-man defence - they were very physical, very strong. But we'll go to London with the same spirit we always show." (ANI)
