Infotech Enterprises Ltd, a leading global information technology consulting company has signed a contract with Bombardier Transportation.

GE Healthcare, a leading healthcare business of General Electric Conglomerate, has informed that the company is envisaging to pump USD200 million in the country to capture rural market for diagnostics and disease monitoring equipments such as ultrasound, computed tomography (CT scanners), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and X-rays. 

While the company has already inked pacts with Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh government to outsource radiology equipments in government hospitals, it proposes to cover over 12 states in three fiscals.

The National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) would soon revise it export growth forecast in the first week of December. It had forecasted revenue rate between 21 and 24 percent for the financial year 2008-09.The IT body is forced to revise its export policy following slowdown in the US economy. The body is, however, expected to meet its target of $60-billion for 2010.
