Washington, Dec 20 : Britney Spears' representative has denied claims stating that the popstar is dating `Good Charlotte' rocker Benji Madden.

The rumors began circulating after In Touch magazine claimed that Jamie Spears and her manager Larry Rudolph were looking for some suitors for the `Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker, and Benji seemed to be extremely interested.

In Touch stated: "Larry made phone calls, and Benji ended up being the most interested in being fixed up, he plans to make a big, splashy announcement to help publicize her tour."

However, Britney's publicist Holly Shakoor has rebuffed all the claims.

"The claims made by In Touch are completely false, there is not an ounce of truth to any of it," US Weekly quoted Holly, as telling E! News.

Infact, Madden was spotted with his former flame Paris Hilton twice this week, and Britney, on the other hand, just got back to L. A. after promoting her new album, Circus, in Tokyo. (ANI)
