‘Britney’s comeback tour dancers fired for drug abuse’
London, Mar 10: Popstar Britney Spears’ comeback tour has reportedly come under fire after three of her back-up dancers were fired for drug use.
The back-up dancers in question were caught after Britney’s father and manager Jamie Spears’ ordered a drug test.
Although, the guilty dancers were apologetic, they were ordered to leave the ‘Circus’ tour immediately.
“They begged to be given a second chance but were shown the door,” The Daily Star quoted a source, as saying.
“It has shocked everyone. Britney and the dancers spent months rehearsing before the tour started and they had become more like family,” the source added.
The ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ hitmaker had evidently instructed all her crew and staff that no kind of hard living would be endured on the tour.
“But the show must go on and such behaviour won’t be tolerated. The remaining dancers have been read the riot act. They have been told that if they know of drugs being used they must come clean or face the boot themselves,” the source added. (ANI)
