Boy George’s male escort is ''unreliable'', claims singer’s lawyer
London, December 4 : A male escort, who had accused Boy George of tying him to his bedroom wall and thrashing him with a metal chain before the 29-year-old fled in his boxers, is ‘unreliable’, a court has heard.
The 47-year-old singer, originally born as George O''Dowd, had denied the allegations made by escort Audun Carlsen.
The former Culture Club star had, on the other hand, alleged that the 29-year-old had hacked his laptop and stolen pictures after the drug-fuelled nude photo shoot in April last year.
"I respectfully suggest you wouldn''t want to rely upon him," BBC quoted defence lawyer Adrian Waterman QC, as saying.
"The live issue was whether Audun Carlsen had stolen photographs and, in doing that, messed up George O''Dowd''s computer," he added.
The jury had earlier heard that George had confessed handcuffing the young man to his bed though he denied having assaulted the Norwegian.
