Bollywood PR Aims To Motivate Next GenerationDale Bhagwagar, well-known celebrity publicist, will be addressing around 1,300 students from over 70 colleges in Mumbai, spread over four public relation (PR) events, starting this weekend.

The publicis, who has handled the media for the likes of Hrithik Roshan, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Esha Deol, Shiney Ahuja, Randeep Hooda and Vivek Oberoi, among forty others, will start the discussions at H.R. College in Churchgate on February 20, sharing the podium with film producer Viveck Vaswani, director Vivek Agnihotri, Ram Mirchandani (COO of UTV Rampage Motion Pictures) and marketing wiz Beena Ahuja.

Talking to around 120 students of Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM), in a group discussion, the speakers will discuss the importance of PR as well as marketing in entertainment.

On the very next day, on February 21, Dale Bhagwagar will lecture to around 150 BMM students on the scope of public relations at L.S. Raheja College in Juhu. His pep talk will be part an inter-collegiate festival titled 'Take 21', with around 16 mass media colleges participating. Here, the publicist is expected to share the stage with Haider Ali (co-writer of 'Jodha Akbar') and film critic Mayank Shekhar.

On February 23, the PR consultant will address a seminar at S.I.E.S. College in Nerul. The BMM event, which is part of the college's annual festival 'Media Rush' is likely to be attended by about 200 students.

Here, Dale is scheduled to talk about the theme of how entertainment reporting has speedily moved to the forefront of mainstream journalism.

Finally, on February 27, Dale will address around 700 students of different faculties comprising Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), BMM and engineering colleges, from more than 65 colleges. These will be part of an inter-collegiate media fest titled 'Recce', held at I.E.S. Management College, Bandra. Here, the publicist will speak on the future prospects of celebrity PR, and is expected to share the platform with Suman Shrivastav (CEO of Euro RSCG India), television anchor Roshan Abbas and ad-man Bharat Dhabolkar.
