BMW releases support for iPod Out
BMW has publicised the release of ‘iPod Out’ feature with respect to the new iOS 4 that will go on-board with all kinds of entertainment systems in all new vehicles.
It was further stated by the car maker that the feature will help all kinds of BMW and Mini car owners to control their iPhones and iPods from vehicle's on-board entertainment system.
One can also use the gadget’s Genius feature and customize their playlists.
The devices that prove to go smooth are iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4, along with second and third generation iPod Touch devices.
BMW through a statement stated: “future vehicles equipped with this technology will be able to adapt more quickly to the software lifecycles of iPod touch and iPhone.”
The car maker is yet to release the dates and soon shall ship out the iPod Out equipped vehicles, but reassures that the support involved in those models using BMW ConnectedDrive for BMW models, and Mini Connected in its Mini range will come soon.
