“Best T20 bowler” Sohail Tanvir now vows to prove mettle in Tests, ODIs too
Lahore, Oct 30 : After being crowned as the “best Twenty20 bowler”, Pakistan pacer Sohail Tanvir has reportedly vowed to prove his mettle in ODI and Test cricket too.
The left-arm pacer is expected to play a crucial role when Pakistan face the West Indies at Abu Dhabi in a three-match ODI series to be held from November 12 to 16 and then against India early next year, which includes three Tests, five ODIs and a Twenty20 match.
“It will be a huge series. It will be a great platform for me to show the world that I can excel in ODIs and Tests as well,” the Daily Times quoted Tanvir as saying.
“I am focusing on the ODI series against the West Indies. My target is to give some match-winning performances with both the bat and ball and win the man-of-the-series award in Abu Dhabi,” he added.
Tanvir is currently playing for Federal Areas in the Pentangular tournament. (ANI)
