Baba Ramdev comes out openly against on-screen smoking
New Delhi, Feb 14 : Indian Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday came out openly against on-screen smoking and said it was wrong to support promotion of drugs in any form.
"I am not criticizing the Judiciary, but it was wrong to support the promotion of drugs in any form," Ramdev said.
Known for his traditional remedies, Baba Ramdev said, "The law was in favour of the masses but unfortunately our court has opted an irresponsible attitude, which was not accepted by many citizens of the country."
The Delhi High Court last month overturned Central Government's ban on smoking in films, saying it restricted creative freedom of expression. (ANI)
