Australia takes 6-0 lead against EnglandAustralian team has crushed England by 111 runs in the sixth ODI match of the Nat West one day matches series at Nottingham on Friday. Australian team has now taken lead of 6-0 in the seven ODI match series.

Australian skipper Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat first. The young Australian batsman T Paine smashed his first international hundred to help his team to put up 296 runs on the board with loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Paine scored 111 runs in 148 balls.

J Anderson, who returned in the English squad after two matches rest, took 4 wickets in the match. R Sidebottom, A Mascarenhas and G Swann chipped in with one wicket each.

English batting order collapsed once again against the Australian bowling attack. England team returned to pavilion for 185 runs on the board. Most of the English batsmen got good starts but they failed to convert it into big innings.

J Hopes took three wickets while B Lee and N Bracken showed way of pavilion to one English batsman each. Paine was declared man of the match for his brilliant maiden century.
