Sweet sounding manufacturer of consumer electronics & software products – Apple is always making headlines for its new products and sometimes for rumored products. Apple certainly is one of the most prominent rumor makers of the tech world.

The latest rumors about Apple are saying that Apple is planning to incorporate 3G capabilities into the hardware of its notebooks. According to rumors, Apple is considering adding 3G capabilities to Apple MacBooks.

The rumors have surfaced because Apple on its website posted a job listing looking for a Communications QA Engineer to work with its Mac Hardware Group. According to the job listing, the required candidate should be proficient in one or more Comms technologies," including "3G Wireless WAN”.

The listing stated that the requirements for the position include "in-depth knowledge of one or more Comms technologies, including Gigabit Ethernet for consumer- and enterprise-class workstations, Bluetooth v2.0, 3G Wireless WAN and Wi-Fi [802.11] a/b/g/n including all associated security modes, authentication types and protocols for Access Points and Clients."

The job listing was first noticed by ComputerWorld. Apple has now removed the job listing from the website, but it certainly fueled rumors that Apple is working on MacBooks with built-in 3G capabilities.
