The wait will soon be over for the consumers who wanted an opportunity to get their hands on Apple's iPad on April 3, the day when the tablet computer will roll.

The technology watchers from Silicon Valley to Wall Street are expecting a new experience in the lieu not just any ordinary PC with lots of versatility. According to Bill Gates, the gadget in itself is an eye candy but on the features front, there is nothing much to talk about the iPad.

According to Apple, the first purchasers of the device will be anyone who has access to Wi-Fi. However the Wi-Fi + 3G variants of the iPad will roll in late April, but the U. S. clientele can place their orders from March 12 onwards on Apple's online store.

As per Apple Chief Steve Jobs, the iPad is something completely new, and the officials are excited to get the first review of the customers.

Since many weeks, the product was undergoing a problematic phase cropped up due to production including screen glitches.

The iPad will make its debut with 12 new apps crafted for it including Apple's iBookstore.
