AnyDATA, a relatively low key mobile handset maker, has launched two smartphones in the market. The new models ASP-318 and ASP-518 are Windows Mobile smart phones that incorporate SRS TruMedia audio because of a recent tie up of the company with SRS Labs.

ASP-318 model has a QVGA touchscreen which measures 3.2-inchs. The phone offers various multimedia features such as GPS, FM radio, SRS TruMedia audio and a camera with a resolutions of 3.2-megapixel with features like auto-focus and flash. A dual SIM option is available in the phone.

ASP-318 will be launched as iMedia smartphone and it will have quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM/EDGE connectivity. It has a microSD memory card slot for the option of extended memory. The phone is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2010.

The other smartphone ASP-518 comes and a dual-band 3G technology with a WVGA touchscreen that measures 3.2-inchs. The phone has an inbuilt memory of 4GB which can be extended through a microSD memory card slot. The phone also supports WiFi connectivity.

The phone supports two SIM cards of both CDMA and GSM networks and is also capable of making video calls with a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus. The phone is currently marketed under the Phillips brand by China Telecom.

The company plans to showcase both these phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Under the recent agreement between SRS Labs and AnyDATA, the SRS TruMedi and TruVoice is incorporated in the smarphones launched by the company.
