Aish-Abhi Buy Home In Dubai
Following a trend set by other Bollywood Biggies including King Khan, Bollywood’s star couple Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bought a luxury villa in Dubai.
The couple also attended a ‘Residents Party’, on Friday night, hosted by Shaikh Holdings for those who have purchased property at the award-winning Sanctuary Falls.
Sanctuary Falls is a 96-villa double-gated community home, consisting of five and six bedroom villas ranging from 5,600 to 10,600 square feet at a cost of 15 million UAE Dirhams to 35 million UAE Dirhams.
The community is likely to be ready in the first quarter of 2010.
Abhishek said, “Dubai is special to us not just as a place where we enjoy great warmth and generosity in terms of love from the people, but it's become a remarkable place and one that is so close to home for us.”
While speaking about the upcoming movie ‘Sarkar Raj,’ which is scheduled to release next week, Aish stated that the Bachchan family had a great experience working for it and were more excited about sharing it with the great audience.
“I’m always excited, I've never been nervous before (the release of) a film. It's been a great experience and I'm looking forward to sharing it with the audiences,” Aish added.
While answering a question if they planned to move to the emirate, Abhi said that he had no plans to settle down in Dubai as the family lived and worked in Mumbai.
But the former Miss World told that they were looking forward to spend more time in the island.
“It’s so close to Mumbai, so we’ll probably be spending a lot more weekends here,” she said.
Aishwarya and Abhishek’s villa in Dubai will have one of three views - a lake, waterfalls or a golf course - and will probably be one of three architectural styles - traditional, modern or contemporary. In terms of facilities, according to the developer, all 96 villas will also have a fully landscaped garden, arrival water fountains, resort style swimming pools, Scavolini designer kitchens and Bang & Olufsen home theatre systems.
