Acer gives surprise to Asus-promises to launch keyboard PC

Acer-Asus-LogoAcer, the maker of low priced laptops has taken the world with surprise as the recent proclamation hints of a new keyboard desktop which is scheduled to be launched earlier then Asus's EEE PC Keyboard.

The number three manufacturer of computers claims that the product which is supposed to be launched, i. e., the keyboard computer will be simple and yet be totally different from earlier genres of computers. Giving a hint of the computer that adheres to the likes of Cybernet PC and EEE keyboard, says a spokesperson from the company.

Acer will be delivering a platform which will be akin to a laptop without the screen with some slight modifications. As sources claim, it would make the time to market even shorter as the battery life would be increased and hence would be an optimum choice for the consumers.

Acer will adhere to the likes of Asus, as it will be using Ultrawideband HD multimedia interface like the EEE Keyboard to connect to a monitor. As for the earlier models, its the D-Sub and HDMI ports which will solve the purpose.

Priced modestly at £370 , £30 and £50 lesser than traditional laptops, it will be the first laptop to be the Packard Bell- Easynote TJ66-DT-022. It will boast of features such as Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, Vista Premium (which will be replaced by Windows 7 HomePremium), 320GB hard disk, WiFi, four USB ports and an Nvidia Geforce graphics card.
