Wikipedia is being criticized since many believe that it has crossed the line with graphic videos and pictures enacting sexual acts on its articles. Some editors of the site itself believe that there is display of content related to porn on the website.

The most alarming aspect is that the children using the search engine, can easily get access to the videos showing sexual intercourse.

It was indeed a shock when after typing a phrase, the user got an access to an 18-second video of a man who seems to be having an orgasm, without any warnings or age verification. One can also get both heterosexual and homosexual images as well as videos.

Wikipedia, which was at one point considered to be a very trustworthy encyclopedia for accurate articles and information,  now seem to have changed its entire functionality by including such search results in its engine, of which children seems to be the targeted victims.

Thus, Wikipedia presently is set on fire and is receiving criticism from all over the world. Some say that imparting sex education through a decent manner is acceptable but, Wikipedia has crossed the line of decency.

The website said in its defense that “there is no censorship in the online encyclopaedia.”

Obviously inappropriate content (such as an irrelevant link to a shock site, or clear vandalism) is usually removed quickly. However, some articles may include objectionable text, images, or links where they are relevant to the content - such as the articles about the penis or pornography.
