Vengsarkar warns on fatigue of players
Dilip Vengsarkar, the former Indian captain has presented his concern on mental as well as physical fatigue of players of Indian cricket team.
Vengsarkar said that due long IPL-2 schedule, players who played in the IPL-2 may be mentally tired and not ready for huge pressure of ICC T20 World Cup.
Vengsarkar has advised to cut short the IPL schedule, so that players can get some break from the cricket. It should be noted that IPL-2 was played in duration of 37 days whereas IPL-1 lasted 42 days which is quite a long time.
Earlier, Indian team coach Gary Kirsten and Sachin Tendulkar have also showed their concern over too much cricket and its bad effects on the Indian players.
Indian team will play a warm up match against Pakistan on June 3 and will start their campaign against Bangladesh in league matches of ICC T20 World Cup.
