UK unemployment increases to 2.5 millionThe unemployment in the UK has risen by 43,000 in last three months. Now it has touched the figure of 2.5 million. This has been officially declared by a recent survey report. This has been the highest figure since 1994. However March has been the most impressive month among all with a fall by 32,900 to 1.54 million.

The number of unemployed people those are not looking for a new job has risen to 8.16 million with a hike of around 110,000. This has been equal to 21.5% of the population.

However, the report also suggests that there has been an increase in the figure of students those have decided to go for education rather than a job.

Yvette Cooper, Work and Pension Secretary has informed that the numbers determined in these reports indicates the government’s prospects. It is so important that the growth in the economy in the country despite the unemployment.

He has also said that the youth need to be careful for their career or else the increase rate of unemployment will cross the boundary of limit.
