Thai share up 3.3 per cent on foreign buys

 Italian federation cracks down on racist chants Bangkok - Thai stocks rose 3.3 per cent Wednesday on an influx of foreign funds into the region's markets.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand index ended at 523.14, up 16.88 points.

"Foreign funds have been flowing back into the regional market, and Thailand is getting some of that," Asia Plus Securities analyst Daechatorn Larbudomsuk said. (dpa)
