Teen Awards 2010: A Star-Studded Event!

It was a star-studded evening at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards 2010. The event took place at Hammersmith Apollo in London. The Teen Awards is a platform for the young and talented. Taylor Swift looked ravishing in a beige lace dress. Taylor sang "Speak Now" and "Mine" and Fearless "Love Story". On the occasion, she remarked that "'The Teen Awards acknowledges the talent of young people and it is wonderful to see them all coming together here".

Wanted, Professor Green and Olly Murs, who rose to fame on "The X Factor also performed on stage. Robert Pattinson made it at the best actor for "Breaking Dawn" though he thanked all for the award via a recorded message as he is presently shooting for 'Breaking Dawn' in Brazil. Katy Perry, dazzled in a white latex dress with a crystal studded guitar. Kate gave away the award to Connor Rowntree, a teenager who suffered serious burn injuries and is now working on a fire-safety campaign. Kate was deeply moved by the Connor's indomitable spirit as she remarked "He is great and indeed a person who can inspire us to rise above odds, I love to be a part of such talent shows. "

Alex Williams were also awarded for becoming a sports ambassador for the disabled after he was crippled with meningitis. Jack Bennett also took away the prize for being a teen entrepreneur for setting up a farm for free-range chick.
