New Delhi - Indian police detained up to 600 right-wing Hindu activists on Saturday, following sporadic protests and harassment against young couples celebrating Valentine's Day, news reports said.
Members of the hardline Shiv-Sena group, blackened the faces of couples at a park at the Moradabad city in northern Uttar Pradesh, the NDTV network reported.
They also attacked three couples and cut their hair at India's famous monument to love, the Taj Mahal in the state's Agra city.
New Delhi, Feb 14: Union Trade Minister Kamal Nath has said that India''s exports, which have been hit hard by the slowdown in global markets, will grow 12-15 percent in the current fiscal year.
Talking to reporters here on Friday, Kamal Nath said, "When we close this year on March 31, we will not have a negative growth, we''ll have a positive growth. And I expect that we will see growth of 12-15 percent in export despite the downturn."

Fourteen coaches of the Coromandel Express overturned in the Jajpur area, situated some 120 kilometres north of the state capital of Bhubaneshwar on Friday evening.
"Fifteen bodies were brought to the local state-run hospital," Indian Railways spokesman JP Mishra said. "We do not know what caused the accident," he added.
