 No fight with Congress: Lalu YadavNew Delhi, Mar 25 : Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday clarified that he had "no fight" with the Congress Party or with party President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

In an interview with NDTV, Lalu said, "I am not a quiet kind of person. I don''t attack people quietly. My advice to the Congress is that its people should continue to sleep comfortably... we (RJD and LJP) will win and form the UPA Government."

Editor shot dead by gunmen in India's restive north-east New Delhi - Unidentified gunmen shot dead the editor of a newspaper in India's north-eastern state of Assam, police said Wednesday.

Anil Majumdar, executive editor of the Assamese daily Aji, was shot seven times on his chest, outside his home in state capital Guwahati on Tuesday night.

"The attackers who came in a car fled from the spot soon after the killing. Majumdar was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead," police official GP Singh said.

Seventy-one percent people feel IPL should have been held in India: SurveyNew Delhi, March 24 : Amidst the hot debate on the Indian Premiere League (IPL) to be held outside India, an NDTV GfK-MODE survey revealed that 71 percent of the Indians would love to see IPL played in India only.

The poll was conducted in 13 Indian cities with a sample size of 1402 Indians, to find people's opinion on the ongoing controversy regarding IPL.

Seventy-one percent of the census would like the IPL to be held in India and 29 percent feel that it doesn't matter where it is played.

South Africa to host second edition of IPL

South Africa to host second edition of IPLNew Delhi, Mar 24 : South Africa will host the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is expected to start from April 17.

IPL commissioner Lalit Modi will address a press conference at 9 pm IST in this regard.

The possible venues for the tournament will also be declared in the conference.

Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth are the expected venues for the tournament.
