Washington, Feb 10 : American actor Chris Evans was once so thrilled to meet his childhood crush Sandra Bullock that he went into "meltdown".

The Fantastic Four star was head over heels in love with the Bullock after watching her performance in 1994 movie Speed.

He couldn''t believe his luck when he finally got the chance to meet her.

"When I saw Speed, I thought, ''That''s the most beautiful woman,''" Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Washington, Feb 10: Cancer-stricken Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze has urged American leaders to help fund cancer research.

The `Ghost' actor, who has been battling pancreatic cancer for over a year, requested through a letter to a leading newspaper, in which he wrote that the country's leaders should take necessary steps towards cancer research.

London, Feb 10: Hotel heiress Paris Hilton, who is mainly in the news for her shopping binges, lately met music legend Paul McCartney and urged him to make her his singing partner.

Hilton met McCartney at a Grammy post bash, and expressed her wish to record a duet with him.

"I'd love to do a duet with you. I'm a singer too and have had an album out," the Sun quoted her as saying.

But McCartney, who seemed baffled for a moment, politely declined her request.

"Sir Paul was minding his own business when Paris traipsed right up to him and introduced herself. He looked bemused, smiled and nodded - then stumbled out that he'd have to check his schedule," a source said.

Fonda, 71, is taking part in a production of 33 Variations, Moisés Kaufman''s play about a woman investigating the creative genius of composer Ludwig van Beethoven during his "later" period.

She was last seen on the Great White Way in 1963 when she performed in Eugene O''Neill''s `Strange Interlude', and she now says she looks upon her new four-and-a-half month play as an `adventure'.

London, Feb 10: `The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button', starring Brad Pitt, has topped the global box office after raking in 22 million pounds in 47 markets at the weekend.

The film, directed by David Fincher, debuted at number one in the U. K., Spain and France, making it the second-biggest international opener of 2009, just behind `Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa'.
