New York, Jan 17: Aussie singer/songwriter Emma Sophina, who was on the US Airways Flight 1549 that crashed in the Hudson River on January 15, has been inspired by the incident to write a ditty called `My Life in the Bottom of the Hudson River'.

Sophina, 26, who had come to New York last week in search of creative inspiration, got more than she bargained for, and feels blessed that she is alive.

"I really do feel inspired," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

Washington, Jan 17: In a move to clear up her remarks about how she cheated on ex-beau Hugh Hefner, Kendra Wilkinson has apologised to the Playboy mogul over her "goofball" revelation.

In a recent interview with Us Magazine, the former Playboy bunny had revealed how she lived with Hugh Hefner and sneaked sex away from the Playboy Mansion.

"I''m more upset at myself with what I said. I''m really bad at interviews, and anyone who knows me knew I meant no harm. I''m a goofball," E! Online quoted her as saying.

She added: "Mostly, I''m very sorry to have hurt Hef. Playboy made me who I am, and Hef has done more for me than anyone else. In my heart, I will always love Hef and Playboy."

London, Jan 17 : American actress Whoopi Goldberg was left red-faced at the recent movie awards ceremony she was hosting, when she introduced actor Josh Brolin as his father, James.

Goldberg, who presented January 14 night's 100th annual National Board of Review of Motion Pictures ceremony in New York, introduced the W star as his Emmy Award-winning actor/director dad.

Brolin dismissed the error and made a joke out of it when he stepped on stage to collect his Best Supporting Actor gong for Milk.

"That's how f***ing famous I am! I just whispered in her ear, `What's the matter with you?' She said, `I don't know - I'm high!'" the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

Washington, Jan 17 : Late Hollywood actor Heath Ledger was the first choice for `Spiderman' role, according to the star''s longtime agent.

In a US magazine tribute to mark the first death anniversary of Ledger, CAA agent Steve Alexander reveals Ledger was among those considered for the blockbuster role before Tobey Maguire stepped up to play the comic book web slinger.

"Sony asked me to come over and read the script for Spider-Man. It was going to be a really cool tentpole movie," Contactmusic quoted Alexander, as telling Entertainment Weekly.

Aptly chosen, the song was to be kept under wraps as per the Presidential Inaugural Committee's decision, however, the singer disclosed the secret in an interview on Entertainment Tonight.

"To sing ''At Last'' while [the Obamas] have their first dance is a dream come true," The New York Daily News quoted her as saying on the show.
