London, March 14: Veteran British rocker Rod Stewart, 64, suffered a loss of 125,000 pounds when two of his supercars were sold at an auction in London.
While the rocker had bought the Ferrari Superamerica and the sky-blue Lamborghini Gallardo for 150,000 pounds each, the two vehicles fetched altogether about 175,000 pounds, just over half their original price.
"Rod is known for being tight-fisted. He will not be happy," the Sun quoted a spokesman for auctioneers Coys as saying.
