Lily Allen gets court’s help to restrain photogs from harassing her
Washington, Mar 14 : English singer-songwriter Lily Allen is so tired of being hassled by the paparazzi that she has obtained an injunction order from a court to restrain them.
Allen, 23, sought the court's help after she made headlines for throwing a haymaker and water bottle at a photographer who allegedly rear-ended her car on March 13.
"My client has faced constant harassment over the last few months from the paparazzi," E! Online quoted Allen''s lawyer, Mark Thomson, as saying in a statement.
"As a result of this and various incidents of harassment that took place yesterday, my client has now been forced to take legal action.
"In a court hearing that took place this afternoon, my client, Lily Allen, has resolved issues surrounding her constant harassment with two picture agencies and has also obtained from the High Court an injunction restraining further harassment of her by other paparazzi photographers," he added.
British tabs have speculated that should the photographers decide to press charges, Allen would have to cancel her upcoming North American tour. (ANI)
