Nicollette Sheridan to quit Desperate HousewivesWashington, Feb 12: Nicollette Sheridan, who plays blonde-bombshell Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives, is leaving the ABC comedy, her rep as confirmed.

However, this is not the first time it has been reported that the actress will end her run on Wisteria Lane.

During the fifth season, show creator Marc Cherry revealed that Sheridan''s character would be crossing a moral boundary that "will have have devastating consequences for her and lead to a shocking conclusion to her time on Wisteria Lane," reports Us magzine.

London, Feb 12 : American actress Angelina Jolie has earned herself the ire of the Thai government after she commented on the plight of Myanmar migrants.

Jolie and Brad Pitt had visited a refugee camp on the Thai-Myanmar border last week, as part of her role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations (U. N.), and the migrants there told her that the Thai military was mistreating them.

Upon hearing their story, Jolie issued an emotive plea to the Thai government urging the authorities to respect the rights of the Rohingya, a Muslim ethnic group from Myanmar.
