London, Feb 15 : British singer Lily Allen has been branded `immature' after she urged parents to encourage their kids to try drugs.

The 23-year-old pop singer's said that potentially lethal Class A drugs like ecstasy might not harm them - so the best way to find out was to take them.

London, February 15 : The White House is all set to honour legendary American singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder with a concert later this month.

A spokesperson for US President Barack Obama has revealed that a Library of Congress Award will be conferred on the singer on February 25.

The gig will go out on the PBS network the next day as part of its Performance at the White House series, reports the BBC.

Islamabad, February 15 : Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Nandita Das graced the second-last day of the KaraFilm Festival in Karachi, Pakistan.

The two of them are known to be the "oldest supporters" of the Kara festival.

Pakistani newspaper the News says in one of its reports that Das and Bhatt were welcome signs, and a massive statement of commitment from the neighbours across the border.

London, Feb 15 : `Slumdog Millionaire' star Freida Pinto has dumped her fiance because she wants to concentrate on her career, it has been revealed.

According to friends, the 24-year-old has told Mumbai PR agent Rohan Antao that she could not be with him and be a world-renowned actress at the same time.

Pinto didn't want to get caught up in the regular routine life just when her career was taking off. So, she decided to call off the engagement, a pal said.

During her meteoric rise to stardom, Pinto had kept Rohan a secret from the media.

Berlin - Peruvian director Claudia Llosa's film La Teda Asustada (The Milk Of Sorrow) was the surprise winner on Saturday at the Berlin Film Festival's prestigious Golden Bear prize.

The movie, about an illness transmitted to children via milk they are fed by mothers who have been raped or mistreated during their pregnancy, was one of 18 films competing for the Berlinale's Golden Bear.

Argentina-born director Adrian Biniez received three prizes, including a special jury prize, for his film Gigante, about a lonely security guard who works at a supermarket and develops an obsession for a woman he spots on one of the cameras.
