Washington, Jan 30: `Slumdog Millionaire' is certainly on an award-wining spree, for the film has now bagged four prizes at the Richard Attenborough Film awards.
Directed by Danny Boyle, the film about an Indian boy winning a fortune in a reality show, was named film of the year.
While Boyle won the director''s prize, teenage actor Dev Patel claimed the rising star award.
The 18-year-old star, who previously starred in E4 series Skins, also won the British Breakthrough Star prize, in a new People''s Choice award.
