The pop princess admits that even if she tries not to sit with him, she end up next to him.

"He''s like my fungus, it''s great," Fox News quoted Abdul as telling Tarts.

"There is some fighting on the first show of course or it wouldn''t be Paula and Simon. I tried not sitting next to him but it didn''t work. I''ve switched seats many times but somehow I always have to end up next to him," she added.
