Another Indian scores with Danny Boyle

Danny BoyleThe Indians went to the Oscars this year, all thanks to Danny Boyle and his `Slumdog Millionaire'.

His cast and crew owe the incredible director most of the fame and attention they are getting.

Now the British director has chosen a short film called `Manjha' to be part of his Blu-ray DVD release of `Slumdog Millionaire'.

The movie is directed by Rahi Anil Barve who is currently busy preparing for his directorial debut with WhiteCloud Pictures.

The film impressed Danny Boyle so much that he decided to choose it.

John Mayer is reportedly all set to propose her long time girl friend Jennifer Aniston for marriage. British newspaper the Daily Mirror is reporting that the musician has been shopping for rings at top jeweller's Lorraine Schwartz, the design house which also provided wedding bands for Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce Knowles.

A source tells the publication, "Money is no object for John. He is creating a vintage-style classic ring for Jen. He's looking at an 18-carat flawless diamond. When he does get down on one knee, he wants to be completely sure he gets the right answer.

Veteran Hungarian film director Peter Bacso dies at 81

Budapest  - The veteran Hungarian director Peter Bacso - best known for The Witness, his biting satire on the absurdity of the communist system - has died at the age of 81.

Wednesday's death of a legend of Hungarian cinema was announced by the Association of Hungarian Film Artists. No further details were given, but Bacso was known to have been suffering from a lengthy illness.

Bacso was born in 1928 in Kosice, now in Slovakia. He enrolled in the Budapest Academy of Theatre and Film in 1946 and worked as a scriptwriter after graduating in
1950.

Bacso was living in the Hungarian capital as the Hungarian communist party consolidated its power through intimidation and terror. He directed his first film in 1963.
