Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has decided to announce their skipper for upcoming Indian Premier League's second season on April 16 (Thursday).

Speaking on this with the media persons, KKR pride owner Shah Rukh Khan said, "We will decide first and announce (the captain) on April 16."

The season 2 of the much awaited IPL would start from April 18 with a bang.

Powered by a tidy bowling performance, South Africa registered a comprehensive seven wicket win over Australia in a crucial tie here on Sunday. With this win, South Africa has leveled the five-match one-day international (ODI) series at 1-1.

Lausanne, Switzerland  - A German equestrian team rider whose horse was tested positive for a banned substance at the Beijing Olympics has had his ban increased from four to eight months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The Lausanne-based CAS upheld an appeal by the German equestrian federation to increase the suspension on Christian Ahlmann after the international equestrian federation FEI had banned the rider for four months.

Ahlmann had appealed for the ban to be reduced to three months.
