Lahore, Nov 11: More than 3000 Sikh pilgrims are expected to arrive in Lahore from India, mostly from Amritsar, at the Wagah Border today to commemorate the 540th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Jee at Nankana Sahib on Thursday.

Islamabad, Nov 11: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has reportedly said that he expected US president-elect Barack Obama to “re-evaluate” American military strikes on suspected Al Qaeda and Taliban targets in Pakistan’s tribal areas.
Warning against the recent surge in missile attacks, Zardari said that such attacks on his country’s soil in pursuit of the Al Qaeda and Taliban elements was hurting Pakistan’s own fight against such terrorists.
Islamabad, Nov 11: Three Pakistani Senators, two from the Treasury benches and one from the Opposition, have reportedly called for filing treason cases against the country’s former president Pervez Musharraf over “subverting” the Constitution and the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti during his nine-year regime ending early this year.
The three Senators put their signatures on the draft resolution, filed with the country’s Senate Secretariat here during the first sitting of the requisitioned session.

Expected to be held later this month, the event will feature all the leading teams in the country and it is likely to be played in the vacant period available between the Pentangular Cup cricket and the start of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy championships, reported The News.
