Suicide bombers ready to unleash a reign of terror in NWFPMingora (Pakistan), July 28 : Tehrik-i-Taliban chief of Swat unit, Maulana Fazlullah has threatened to unleash a large number of suicide bombers if the NWFP government launched a military operation in the Valley.

He said bombing of girls’ schools in the region was a ‘minor reaction’ of the Taliban and warned that they would surprise the whole world if so ordered by their leadership.

The cleric, who had been in the hiding for the past 10 months, said this while talking to reporters in Tawan village of Kabal on Sunday.

Missile strike kills six in Pakistan's tribal region Islamabad - A missile strike Monday on a suspected Taliban hideout in Pakistan's north-western tribal region killed at least six people, officials said.

The predawn attack targeted a house in a village near the Azam Warsak area of the South Waziristan district bordering Afghanistan.

At least three people were also injured in the strike that destroyed the building, local administration officials said on the condition of anonymity.

No comment was available from military officials.

Six killed in missile attack Pak tribal areaWana (Pakistan), July 28 : At least six people were killed today in a missile strike in a village in South Waziristan bordering Afghanistan.

According to official sources, the missile, said to be fired from Afghanistan, hit a house next to a mosque in the village.

The villagers said they had heard noise of jets coming from Afghanistan just before the strike.

It was unclear to say if the missile was launched by Taliban militants or NATO-led forces fighting them in Afghanistan, the BBC quoted a Pakistani security official as saying.
