Mumbai, Jan 30, : Mumbai Police on Friday registered a case against popular singer Adnan

Islamabad  - Pakistani police captured nine people they accused of being involved in a string of bombings, including last year's suicide attack on the Danish embassy in Islamabad, for which al-Qaeda claimed responsibility, media reports said Friday.

Rawalpindi police chief Rao Muhammad Iqbal announced the arrests and said the men had confessed they were involved in at least five suicide attacks carried out in the capital city and its neighbouring garrison town of Rawalpindi.

New Delhi - November's Mumbai attacks were not planned on Pakistani soil and India's dossier of evidence on the attacks could be fabricated, a top Pakistani diplomat told an Indian news channel Friday.

"Pakistani territory was not used, so far as the investigators have made their conclusions," Pakistan's high commissioner in Britain, Wajid Shamsul Hassan, told the NDTV network. "... It could have been some other place."

Islamabad, Jan 30: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's Interior Adviser Rehman Malik is confident that law enforcement agencies would succeed in flushing out militants from the Swat Valley in a few weeks, as a new strategy had been worked out to combat the Taliban.

Winding up a discussion on the situation in Swat in the Senate, Malik did not divulge details of the new strategy, but said he was ready to give an in-camera briefing to members of the house.

The Pakistani government was under this false illusion created by the Foreign Minister of the time that India will never cross the International Border. When under pressure in Jammu and Kashmir India attacked Lahore and Sialkot with full force on 6th September 1965. Both countries claimed victory in 1965 war.

Islamabad, Jan. 30: In an effort to garner the support of the international community over its war on terror, Pakistan has claimed that the loss of life and property in its war on terror, inside its territory, is much bigger than the 9/11 incident.
