Stephen Hawking hosting TV show on how the universe works

London, January 3 : Renowned scientist Stephen Hawking is all set to debut as a television presenter with a new programme for Channel 4.Universe Work

The show titled ‘Stephen Hawking: Master Of The Universe’, beginning in March, will show the wheelchair-bound genius explaining to his audiences how the universe works.

The 65-year-old Cambridge professor will explain his own and other scientists’ ideas in a manner suitable to make a layman understand them.

The programme will see Hawking examining the mind-boggling theories of his book ‘A Brief History Of Time’, about two decades after he published it.

He will also talk about cutting-edge new concepts like ‘String Theory’ and ‘Supersymmetry’.

A source has revealed that Hawking will speak through his electronic voice synthesiser.

“Stephen is brimming with theories about why the universe exists and we’re all here. But many people don’t connect with his work as it can seem so complicated,” the Sun quoted a C4 insider as saying.

“Thousands bought A Brief History Of Time but many didn’t get past Page 4. He will explain it himself in very straightforward language,” the source added. (ANI)
