SRK gives bulk dates for KJ’s ‘My Name Is Khan’
In a rare gesture, Shah Rukh Khan, SRK, has given start-to-finish dates to dear friend Karan Johar for the shooting of his forthcoming film 'My Name Is Khan'. The shooting is expected to begin early next year, and the film will be released in summer.
According to reports, King Khan has a jam-packed schedule next year, and the back-to-back dates have come as a big surprise!
The news has been confirmed by a source that King Khan has given a bulk dates from December 15. He will be shooting in various places in America during the schedule. This is for the first time that a SRK film will be completed in one schedule.
Even Neelufar Qureshi, who looks after SRK's publicity work said: "Yes, it's true that Shah Rukh will shooting for 'My Name Is Khan' in December, but I don't know from which date he will start shooting."
'My Name Is Khan' is based on the discrimination against people with Muslim second names who are viewed with suspicion and forced to endure extra security checks in international airports six years after the 9/11 attacks. The film is inspired by Shah Rukh's personal experiences.
Made under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film will star Kajol and Madhavan in lead roles. The music will be composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
