Murcia, Spain - The 36 passengers of a bus in Spain were injured early Thursday when the vehicle collided with a lorry, emergency services said.

Five of the passengers were said to be in a serious condition.

The collision occurred in Puerto Lumbreras near Murcia in the south-east of the country.

Most of the passengers travelling from Barcelona to Algeciras were Moroccans heading home.

It was not immediately known what caused the accident, or the condition of the lorry driver.
