New York, Jan 22 : Michelle Obama faces competition, for songstress Macy Gray has announced that she's in love with the US President.

"I''m in love with Barack Obama . . . I wanna get married - like, I wanna have his kids," the New York Post quoted Gray, as saying on an episode of Starz''s upcoming series "Head Case."

She continues: "Why am I not Michelle, you know what I mean? Who the [bleep] is she? You know, why can''t I be her?"

Gray was an early supporter of a Obama presidential campaign, almost two years before his official announcement, she wore a shirt saying "Barack Obama for President" during the Hurricane Katrina fundraisers.

To date, Gray has released four studio albums, one compilation album, and one live album-with her fourth studio album, Big, released in March 2007-and has received five Grammy Award nominations, winning one. (ANI)
