Segway's chief technology officer, Doug Field, will soon be seen as the new vice president (of product designs) of Apple.

The work profile of Field however, remains a mystery.

Segway Web architect, John Grohol considers Field as the man and mind behind the success of Segway. In fact, the entire company holds Field's team as solely responsible for developing Segway and also for the research and development of future Segway products.

The Segway scooter has not been accepted world wide, especially by adults, and because of this, the company suffered a set back so far as the sales are concerned.

However, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak considers the Segway as an inspiration for himself.

Meanwhile, China has been successful in making squads of grown men riding scooters appear impressive as well as looming to some extent.
