Saleh Construction, UAE's largest construction and engineering company, has informed that it has bagged a contract worth Dh 400 million for the first phase core and shell construction for Dubai Lifestyle City (DLC).

The contract has been placed by DLC, which is an arm of the ETA Ascon Star Group, located in Dubailand and the project is on track for completion by end-2011 or first quarter of 2012.

DLC authorities stated in a communiqué that they will commence work on a model villa, condominiums and duplexes.

DLC will feature an IMG Sports Academy, a JW Marriott Hotel and destination spa, 68 fully-furnished luxury villas, 120 apartments, a nine-hole golf course, a 100,000 square feet high-end mall, an auditorium, Marriott serviced apartments, a mosque and a dedicated greenhouse.
