Sahara Inks MoU With Israeli Firm For Solar TechnologySahara India Power Corp, a division of the Sahara India group, announced that it has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Israel-based Safesky Software in order to make advanced solar power technologies.

Mr. Ashok K Bhargava, CEO, Sahara India Power Corporation Ltd and Amos Bouchnik, chairman, Safesky along with Arik Klein, president and founder, Safesky, signed the MoU in the company of Subrata Roy Sahara, chairman, Sahara India Pariwar.

Under the deal, the companies will also establish a demonstrative solar power facility of 5 MW at a Sahara India owned location in the country.

According to a Sahara statement, "Safesky has advanced technologies in Solar Power, Medical, Communication and Water which will be available to Sahara India Power Corporation for marketing and manufacturing in India."

Saharasri Subrata Roy, chairman, Sahara India Pariwar, stated that this novel technology is definitely going to benefit India in a very big way.

He added that in India, especially in rustic regions with 500 million people, the power deficit is very high and this product will definitely help the country immensely. (With Inputs from Agencies)
