Ryan Seacrest confirms new Twitter music appRadio and television personality, Ryan Seacrest has confirmed the existence of the new music app on the micro blogging site, Twitter.

Seacrest, who uses @RyanSeacrest on Twitter, wrote on the site that he used the music app. Seacrest is best known as the host of reality music show, American Idol.

He wrote, "playing with @twitter's new music app (yes it's real!)...there's a serious dance party happening at idol right now." He added, "lovin the app...shows what artists are trending, also has up and coming artists... spinning u now @frankturner."

The twitter account of We Are Hunted, which is the music streaming app that was acquired by Twitter, responded to Seacrest's tweet on the micro blogging site. Some also pointed out that a new web page, http://music.twitter.com, has been launched indicating that the company might be planning to launch the music app for its users soon. The new music app will be based on We Are Hunted's technology and will add the popular music feature to the popular social blogging site.

Some reports circulating on the internet said that the company might launch the app as soon as this week at Coachella, which is a music festival that is being held this year across two weekends, from April 12-14 and April 19-21.
