Robert Plant-Alison Krauss triumph Grammy''s with Album of the Year award
Washington, Feb 9 : Former Led Zeppelin star Robert Plant and his partner Alison Krauss triumphed this year''s Grammy''s by winning five honours, including the Album of the Year award.
The duo also won the Record of The Year, Best Pop Collaboration, Best Country Collaboration, and Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album.
Lil Wayne walked away with three prizes, and a share of the Best Rap Performance for a Duo or Group for Swagga Like Us with Jay-Z, T. I. and Kanye West, reports Contactmusic.
Singer Alicia Keys won the gong of Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for ''Superwoman''.
John Mayer also took away two gongs-Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for ''Say'', and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for ''Gravity''.
Carrie Underwood won the award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for ''Last Name''.
Natalie Cole took home the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album award for ''Still Unforgettable'', while Bruce Springsteen won the Best Rock Song for ''Girls In Their Summer Clothes''.
Jennifer Hudson was awarded Best R&B Album.
Coldplay were also triple winners, claiming Song of The Year, Best Rock Album and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals.
