A-Rod’s ex-wife shares his tears during confessional interview

Alex Rodriguez New York, Feb 11 : Although Alex Rodriguez had broken ex-wife Cynthia's heart by `dating' Madonna, she was by his side during his emotional interview with ESPN in which he confessed that he used performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

Sitting off-camera, Cynthia watched him, clutching a tissue, with tears in her eyes as the Yankee slugger admitted to using steroids.

"It looked to me as though he had been crying, and it looked to me as if Cynthia had been crying," The New York Daily News quoted Willie Weinbaum, ESPN''s producer, as telling Newsday.

Washington, Feb 11 : Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Bridget Marquardt has announced that she will spend Valentine''s Day with new beau Nick Carpenter.

The `Girls Next Door' beauty has been dating Carpenter since she parted ways with the Playboy mogul in October.

"I''m doing a club appearance in Vegas at Studio 54, so he''ll be my valentine and go along with me," Us magazine quoted Marquardt as saying.

When asked how are things going with Nick, she said: "Really good!"

Marquardt currently hosts the Travel Channel''s `Bridget''s Sexy Beaches', and met Carpenter when he directed her in the upcoming thriller, The Telling.

Michelle Pfeiffer feels more ‘liberated’ at 50

Michelle PfeifferWashington, Feb 11 : American actress Michelle Pfeiffer has revealed that she finds reaching 50 to be a very liberating experience.

Pfeiffer had turned 50 in 2008 and she admits that she did not have any fear of getting older.

"If you think hitting 40 is liberating, wait till you hit 50 - and I was surprised at how liberating it was," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"The anticipation of something is always much worse than the reality," she stated.

The other thing she likes about growing old, are the roles she gets to play.

Fleiss had first announced her plans to open a bordello featuring male prostitutes at a property she owns outside the Nye County town of Pahrump, some 60 miles west of Las Vegas, late in 2005.

"I don''t want to work so hard. ... and deal with all the nonsense in the sex business," Fox News quoted Fleiss as telling the Las Vegas Review-Journal .
