Prince Harry’s charity ‘fails to deliver promised money to orphanage’

Prince HarryLondon, October 26 : Prince Harry’s ‘Sentebale’, a charity set up to help vulnerable children and young people in Lesotho, has landed in a feud over finances promised to an orphanage in Lesotho.

Lydia Muso, director of Lesotho Child Counselling Unit (LCCU), has allegedly said that she had to ‘beg and borrow’ despite being assured of financial assistance by the royal’s charity to keep the orphanage running.

She claimed that the safe house, that looks after 17 sexually and physically abused children, had at first received the promised financial aid from the charity launched by the prince in 2006.

London, Oct 26 : Former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham has reportedly been offered 10 million pounds to host a documentary about her soccer ace hubby David Beckham’s move to AC Milan.

The Italian club confirmed on October 22 that it has been trying to get Beckham on loan from LA Galaxy, with an offer for Posh from Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to do a film about the move.

Berlusconi, reportedly wants Victoria to do a film that will show the couple’s move from the time of their arrival, house-hunt and their first shopping trips in the European fashion capital.

Older parents’ first-born kids more likely to be autistic

London, Oct 26 : Older mothers and fathers are more likely to have a child with autism, according to a new US study.

In the study, researchers found that first-born children of older parents were three times more likely to develop autism than later children of younger parents.

"The results provide the most compelling evidence to date that autism risk increases with both maternal and paternal age, and decreases with birth order," the Telegraph quoted researchers, as saying.

“The increase in autism risk with both maternal and paternal age has potential implications for public health planning and investigations of autism," they added.
