James Bond memorabilia up for grabs

James BondLondon, Nov 27 : Brit auction house Bonhams is auctioning off James Bond memorabilia at London''s Olympia on December 1.

Items that are being auctioned off include the ‘swimming’ Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me, and other collectors’ cars, motorcycles and related ephemera.

The 1976 Esprit was recently restored, and according to the director of engineering at Lotus Cars, Roger Becker, this is the only one of the two fully functioning Esprits to be fitted with the missile launch button on the gear lever and the revised housing for the clock/periscope screen.

The tiny designer footwear, which is made by US firm Heelarious, comes in different garish colours, from bright pink to leopardskin, and priced at 19.99 pounds a pair.

The shoes have been specifically made for little girls aged up to six months, and the “sassy heels” have been described as bringing “fun, hilarity and glamour” to dressing up.

Dog lover turns deluxe home into £1.4M kennel!

London, Nov 27 : A Brit dog lover has turned more than half of her deluxe home into a 1.4million-pound grand kennel for her beloved dogs.

The dog lover, who does not want to be identified, has got her two beloved Great Danes a more than complete kennel with their own plasma TV, a lounge, and a their very own spa.

The Hi Tech house in Keynes, London, will not be an envy of dogs, but also any human.

The dog lover demanded her architect to include a separate sumptuous living quarters for her two pets in her bungalow.

The grand kennel, estimated to cost more than 250,000 pounds, will be the latest eccentric build on the Cotswold Water Park, already famous for its futuristic, sustainable designs, reports the Daily Express.

Immigrants getting British citizenship every three minutes in the UKLondon, Nov 27 : Teenage thugs and criminals can escape scot-free just by saying sorry to their victims, according to a new scheme launched in UK.

Under the programme being run by the Youth Justice Board—which oversees youth offending, violent teenage muggers and burglars—those under 17 are not being prosecuted or taken to court for their offences if they take part in the restorative justice programme where they meet their victims.

They could be let off “on the spot” if both sides agree.
