London, Apr. 25 : The Gordon Brown Government has revealed that it plans to monitor every phone call, email or website visit.

Plans for this exercise are to be unveiled next week, reports The Telegraph.

According to the paper, the proposals will give police and security services the power to snoop on every single communication made by the public with the data then likely to be stored in an enormous national database.

London, Apr. 25 : Britain's Gurkha soldiers, who for generations, have been known for their courage and sacrifice, have reacted angrily to new laws unfurled by Immigration Minister Phil Woolas that, according to government estimates, only about 4,300 more Gurkhas out of 36,000 will be allowed to move to the UK.

The Gurkha campaigners argue that the rules may in reality benefit only 100 men.

According to The Independent, the severe restriction in the numbers flies in the face of a court judgment favouring the resettlement of Gurkhas in Britain.

London, Apr 25 : A 12-year-old British girl gave birth to a baby boy on April 24.

The minor mum got pregnant after a one-night stand with an older lad, who is not her boyfriend.

The white girl belongs to a broken home and lives in a deprived part of the South West.

The young mum was not even aware that she was expecting, and was taken to hospital suffering stomach pains and feeling "under the weather".

"It was a shock. She had been feeling unwell for a while, fainting. We took her to hospital for tests, and she gave birth," The Sun quoted a family friend as saying.

London, Apr 25 : In a breakthrough study, California researchers have successfully grown blood vessels from kidney patients' own skin cells, a development that will increase the ease and safety of dialysis.

The researchers hope that the new technique can one day be used to grow internal organs as well.

It is the first complex bioengineered tissue part built without synthetic components.

Earlier, the bioengineers have only been able to grow sheet-like tissue such as skin from cells alone.
