National Court judge Ismael Moreno questioned Miguel Aguirre de Carcer in the framework of his investigation into alleged flights of the US Central Intelligence Agency

Madrid - Spain's National Court on Wednesday acquitted two journalists and a caricaturist of insulting King Juan Carlos by alleging that he had chased a drunken bear in Russia.
Two of the accused created a photomontage published in 2006 by the Basque newspaper Deia, which showed a drunken-looking Juan Carlos with an equally drunken bear leaning on a wine barrel.
The tame bear had been given vodka to make it easier for the king to shoot it, the caricature claimed in a reference to unconfirmed press reports quoting Russian sources.
The third accused called the king "irresponsible" in an article on the bear chase.
Palma de Majorca, Spain - Spanish police have detained three people in connection with the partial collapse of a hotel on the holiday island of Majorca, where four construction workers were killed in the accident, police said Wednesday.
The detainees included an architect, an overseer and a project chief. Police said they could be charged with homicide and with violating workers' rights.
Officials earlier said the company carrying out the repairs did not have a licence and had been ordered to stop the work on the hotel Son Moll in Cala Ratjada in the north-east of the island.

He is still only 24, and Sevilla are convinced that he has a bright future.
Madrid - Spain on Tuesday lent cautious support to Morocco's proposal of an autonomy to Western Sahara in the search of a solution to the three-decade conflict pitting Morocco and the Saharawi independence movement Polisario Front.
The proposal to grant the region autonomy instead of independence was a "positive contribution" to negotiations towards a "fair, lasting and mutually acceptable peaceful solution that respects the principle of self-determination," Spain and Morocco said in a joint declaration issued after a summit in Madrid.
